Father Christmas at the Museum: A chattering of Choughs!

Follow Lowen the Elf on an enchanting journey, brought to life with song, light, and spellbinding projections.

Let your imagination take flight at this most wonderful time of year, with a heart warming tale of how Cornwall’s birds – including a magnificent chattering of Choughs – came together to help the reindeers and save Christmas.

The culmination of the journey brings you to Father Christmas’ secret Kernow Office for a special visit.

This immersive storytelling experience promises a festive memory for the whole family — complete with a small gift and a photo opportunity with the man himself.

Shows are half an hour long.

This a walkabout storytelling performance which will take place across both floors of the museum. If you have access requirements, there is a lift available. You may bring pushchairs but you will be asked to leave them in our downstairs waiting room during the show due to room capacity in the grotto. If you have any additional requirements, please email kate@cornwallmuseum.org and we will do our best to help.

Please book a ticket for each child and each adult

Present included

Babes in arms go free and are welcome to be in pictures but will not receive a present.

 

This year, we are offering a local community group free tickets to a show. If you wish to, before you get to your basket, there will be a pop-up that allows you donate. We are hugely grateful for any donations received which allow us to help families in need.

 

Please arrive 10 minutes before the start of the show you have booked.

Please note we do not allow latecomers as this is a live performance. You may not be admitted if you are late.

Please allow plenty of time to park as Truro gets very busy at this time of year. If you can, we suggest getting the train, the station is a 15 minute walk away, or using the Park and Ride which stops right outside the museum.

You may cancel your ticket and receive a refund up to one week before the show, after this, no refunds will be given. Get in contact at enquiries@cornwallmuseum.org to organise a refund.
